Mr Papageorgiou specialises in a select number of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures involving the face. He is one of a select group of Oculofacial Plastic surgeons who holds memberships with the American, European and British Societies. During his training at UCLA, and under the mentorship of leading figures in the field, he advanced in minimally invasive surgical techniques and facial reconstructive approaches. His skills were further consolidated by his experience in prominent private practices in Beverly Hills. Mr Papageorgiou has a solid academic profile with numerous scientific publications and international presentations. He has won prestigious awards for his research enterprises, including the International Award by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS) and the Jules Stein Institute (UCLA) Excellence in Research Award. Following his relocation to London, he became an associate of Alex Karidis, one of the UK’s leading plastic surgeons. He remains in active collaboration with his academic centres and colleagues in the USA, constantly updating his practice with the latest trends and surgical innovations. He is a regular instructor and lecturer in microsurgical courses organised by the UCLA Faculty of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery.
