London Medical provides in-depth assesment and treatment for a wide range of bone and joint conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative spinal disease, all aches and pains reflecting inflammation in joints (arthritis) and tendons (tendonitis).

The clinic has an established Rheumatology and Osteoporosis service with increasing referrals from endocrinologists, rheumatologists and gynaecologists (monitoring bone loss in the post-menopausal state), in patients on long-term steroids, coeliac disease and patients with diabetes on insulin.

Our on-site bone densitometer means London Medical can offer osteoporosis risk assessment in a single visit. The monitoring of bone turnover and response to treatment is assessed using highly specialised blood biochemical markers with bone density measurements, allowing individual treatment recommendations.
